Primitives, kitchenware, Coverlets & Textiles

This may look like a big spider but it is actually an expandable  yarn swift. It intended use is to keep yarn from tangling while being wound.

This shows one little corner of the primitive kitchen where you'll find crockery, utensils, transferware, and a plethera of granny hads!

A fun little bunch of pin cushion mammies from different eras.

This shot shows a collection of stoneware jugs and jars in the "root cellar".

Lots of good graniteware can be found in the kitchen as well, alongside several nice pieces of the popular sponged Peddlers' Ware.

A super solid wooden chest in old mustard colored paint. This little footed box is quite small and would be great for the end of a childs bed or under the window for keepsakes. Below is a photo one corner of the area dedicated to textiles and sewing.
